Course description

This course allows students to complete the equivalent of an undergraduate major in a chosen language selected from Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Ukrainian (see the undergraduate handbook for details).

Entry requirements

A bachelors degree in any field.

Course structure

This course is equivalent to one year full-time (48 points), but as language units must be studied sequentially it is normally completed part-time over three years. The diploma is suitable for beginners or those with intermediate levels of language competence.

Exit points

Students may be offered an exit award of a Graduate Certificate of Arts after successful completion of 24 points.
