Important dates

Cut-off dates

• First-round offer applications: 24 September 2004
• Second-round offer applications: 22 October 2004
• Third-round offer applications: November 2004

Please note that the cut-off dates apply as long as places remain available. Cut-off dates may vary for some courses - individual course entries should be checked for such advice.

Formal commencement of academic calendar

• University orientation: 21-25 February 2005
• First semester: 28 February 2005
• Second semester: 18 July 2005

Mid-year intake

Some courses offer mid-year intake. Contact the relevant faculty advisers for information.

Change of enrolment

The final dates for adding units to a study program are:

• First semester: off-campus units 11 February 2005
• First semester: on-campus units 11 March 2005
• Second semester: off-campus units 1 July 2005
• Second semester: on-campus units 29 July 2005

Please refer to the section 'Enrolment variation unit and course details' on page 15 for withdrawal information without incurring academic penalty or Commonwealth-supported (HECS) place charges.

Exam period

• First semester: 6 June - 1 July 2005
• Second semester: 24 October -18 November 2005

Attendance requirements

Attendance requirements range from 'not required' to 'optional' to 'compulsory'. Specific details are contained in the individual course entries.
