This three-year course will provide students with knowledge of a broad spectrum of resource management issues and strategies used to manage and sustain the Earth's natural resources. Students will gain skills in relevant quantitative and qualitative research techniques as well as analytical techniques that are applicable to the management of natural resources. They will also understand the role and impact of the physical and natural sciences in society, with particular emphasis on the environment. The maximum time for completion of the course is 10 years, including intermissions.
No more than 60 points of level-one units can be included overall. Elective units may be chosen from any faculty at the Malaysia campus, including units offered for other science courses.
