management matters, while the faculty manager is responsible for the overall
general, teaching and research administration of the faculty. The associate
deans and the deputy dean provide assistance with academic and student

Teaching in the hospitals and other clinical settings is coordinated through
the offices of the assistant deans (clinical) and the hospital clinical deans.
Heads of schools, in conjunction with heads of departments and directors of
centres and institutes, provide academic leadership within their disciplines
and are responsible for the management of staff and resources. Heads and
directors, together with all other professors, play a significant role in the
overall academic activities of the faculty.
