Diploma in Arts

Objectives

The Diploma in Arts provides the opportunity to pursue in-depth study in a humanities area of personal interest, while at the same time completing a bachelors degree in another field.

Entry requirements

For entry into the Diploma in Arts, students must be enrolled in a Monash bachelors degree. Students in double degree programs at Monash may also apply for admission to the diploma. Approval is required from students' home faculty or faculties. Applications are made directly to the faculty, not via VTAC or Monash International.

Course structure

The Diploma in Arts requires students to complete a three-year sequence (a major of 48 credit points) in their chosen humanities discipline. For a full list of disciplines available, contact the Arts office on the relevant campus.
