Master of Pharmaceutical Science

Entry requirements for the Master of Pharmaceutical Science (MPharmSc) are a bachelors degree in pharmacy or other relevant field, with honours I or IIA from Monash or any other recognised tertiary institution.

The normal duration for the degree of Master of Pharmaceutical Science is two years, but advanced standing may be granted in certain circumstances. For full-time candidates, the thesis can be submitted following not less than 12 and not more than 36 months of study.
Students may nominate the area in which they wish to pursue their studies, but this is conditional upon the availability of materials, equipment and supervisors. Students are advised to consult with the head of department or the associate dean (Graduate Studies) in relation to their final choice of topic.
Students considering undertaking this course are requested to contact the research programs manager on (03) 9903 9622, requesting an application form. Studies for the Master of Pharmaceutical Science normally commence in March of each year.
