This course is designed for professionals working in a range of human service and corporate sector organisations who wish to gain an all-purpose organisational qualification in mentoring and coaching. This program is offered as part of the suite of work, learning and leadership programs offered by the Faculty of Education.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold either a relevant four-year undergraduate pass degree or a relevant three-year undergraduate pass degree with appropriate professional experience, normally of three years duration, or have qualifications or experience considered by the faculty board to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for, the above awards. Negotiations for formal articulation arrangements may include provision for the admission of enrolment cohorts with `equivalent' qualifications or experience. Students admitted under this provision are likely to possess a number of workplace-based training qualifications.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Mentoring and Coaching may be taken either full-time or part-time. It is expected that full-time candidates will complete all requirements within 12 months (two semesters), while part-time candidates should complete all requirements within two years (four semesters). The expected number of study hours per week for a full-time student is 24.
