Master of Banking

Course code: 0571 + Course abbreviation: MBanking + Caulfield + On-campus + Evening + Three semesters full-time, five semesters part-time + Course director: Mr Terry Boulter + Total credit points required: 60

This masters degree has been designed as an interactive field of study providing a close association with industry using applied cooperative teaching by both academics and industry practitioners. This course is targeted at professional bankers and corporate treasurers seeking to invigorate and extend their managerial and leadership capacity and effectiveness.

Admission requirements

Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution plus a minimum of three years relevant employment experience.

Advanced standing

Candidates may be eligible for advanced standing for a maximum of five credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular requirements in the course of study.

Course structure

(a) Students must complete five core units (30 credit points)

The Master of Banking is accredited by the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance and provided the required units are completed successfully, graduates will qualify for senior associate membership status.
