Graduate Diploma in Accounting

The Graduate Diploma in Accounting is designed for students with a degree in a field other than accounting who wish to obtain a sound introduction to accounting concepts and procedures. It allows students to take a substantial number, but not all, of the units needed to meet the academic requirements for admission to the CPA Australia program and the CA program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. As such, it suits potential students who already meet some of the requirements of these professional bodies.

Course structure

Students must complete eight units (48 credit points) from the following list:

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Accounting may apply for admission to the Master of Practising Accounting.
