Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management

This course is designed to help people understand the conceptual framework of public policy and management in the public sector. The course will analyse the current major challenges in public policy and public management and the range of solutions being canvassed by modern government to address these. The course will provide students with the opportunity to apply the skills gained from the program to work-related situations.

Course structure

or graduate units taught by the Department of Management, other departments in the Faculty of Business and Economics, or other faculties of Monash University, with approval from program coordinator.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management or Master in Public Policy and Management and would be eligible for advanced standing for four units.
