Candidates for admission to graduate certificate courses require a pass degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification and, usually, relevant employment experience.
Graduate certificates are normally completed in one semester of
full-time study or part-time equivalent.

Candidates may be eligible for advanced standing for a maximum of two units (12 credit points) if previous study is considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study. Advanced standing is restricted to study undertaken in the last five years and must be approved by the course director.
Students who complete a graduate certificate are eligible to apply for admission to a range of graduate diplomas or masters offered by the faculty. Students may apply for advanced standing up to a maximum of four units towards the relevant graduate diploma or masters depending upon the units that have been studied in the graduate certificate.
All graduate certificates are offered on a fee-paying basis.
The fees quoted are provided as a guide only and are subject to final approval by the university late in 2003. For future years of your course, Monash University reserves the right to adjust annual tuition fees to take into account increases in university and course delivery costs. However, Monash University undertakes that any adjustment factor will not exceed 10 per cent per annum.
