The certificate is a short course designed to provide a sound theoretical and practical knowledge in business law and to develop an understanding of and an ability to analyse a range of legal problems arising in the practice of business law.
(a) Students must complete two units (12 credit points) from the following list:

Students must complete a further two units (12 credit points) from:
(i) the units listed in (a) or,
(ii) with the approval of the course director, students who
have completed two 9000-level units, with at least a credit average in those
units, will be able to undertake up to two 4000 or 5000-level units available
within the MBL course.
Students who achieve an overall credit average are eligible to apply for entry
to the Master of Business Law. If entry to the MBL is achieved, advanced
standing will be awarded for the units completed in the executive certificate.
