Cut-off dates

• First-round offer applications:
  26 September 2003
• Second-round offer applications:
  24 October 2003
• Third-round offer applications: 28 November 2003. Late applications received after 28 November 2003 may be processed subject to places being available. Please check with the contact person indicated against each of the courses.

Application forms

Located in the back of this book is the `Information and instruction sheet' for completing the `Application for admission' and the `Application for advanced standing' forms.

Formal commencement of academic calendar

• University orientation:
  23-27 February 2004
• First semester:
  1 March 2004
• Second semester:
  19 July 2004

Change of enrolment

The final dates for adding units to a study program are:

• First semester:
  12 March 2004
• Second semester:
  30 July 2004

Please refer to the section `Enrolment variation - unit and course details' on page 15 for dates of withdrawal without HECS and academic penalty.

Exam period

• First semester:
  7 June - 2 July 2004
• Second semester:
  25 October - 19 November 2004

Attendance requirements

Attendance requirements range from `not required' to `optional' to `compulsory'. Specific details are contained in the individual course entries.
