Bachelor of Communication/Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing)


General information

Course code: 1945 + Berwick

Objectives

This course provides major studies in the theory, practice, technology and research techniques of mass communications together with studies at Chisholm TAFE designed to provide students with the theoretical base and the practical skills in a variety of writing, editing and production tasks. This course involves students undertaking concurrent studies for the Monash Bachelor of Communication degree and the Chisholm Institute of TAFE diploma.

  • Corporate writing 1A and 1B
  • Popular fiction 1A and 1B
  • Writing for radio

  • Literary non-fiction project 2
