The Graduate School

High-quality research facilities are available within all departments for students to undertake graduate work in experimental and theoretical areas of the pharmaceutical sciences. Students wishing to apply for admission to higher degrees by research are encouraged to discuss their research interests with the associate dean (Graduate Studies) or potential supervisors at the college, prior to making formal application via the Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS). Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA) and Monash Research Graduate Scholarships (MGS) are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit. Some industry scholarships are also available to graduate students studying at the college.

The associate dean (Graduate Studies) chairs the college's Graduate Studies Committee, which is responsible for graduate administration in all departments of the college.
The following fields of research are available for graduate studies.

Pharmaceutics
Medicinal chemistry
Pharmaceutical biology and pharmacology
Pharmacy practice

Flexible learning arrangements

Students with family and/or work commitments can access honours and higher degree research programs on a part-time basis. Part-time scholarships are also available. For more information on all these issues, contact the college's associate dean (Graduate Studies) or the Monash Research Graduate School at the Clayton campus.
