Students may choose to leave the program after completing 48 points and receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Multimedia Computing. In order to do so, they must have completed the core units of the Master of Multimedia Computing and 12 points of electives.

Completed applications to be forwarded to the Student Services Officer, Gippsland School of Computing and Information Technology, Monash University, Churchill 3842, by 27 September 2002 to be considered for a first-round offer. Applications received after that date but before 25 October 2002 will be considered for a second round of offers. Later applications may be considered if places are available.
