Course code: To be advised + Malaysia campus
The Bachelor of Science course normally requires three years full-time study or the equivalent in part-time on-campus or OCDL study (usually about six years).
Two associated tagged BSc degrees, detailed separately, have particular career focuses. The BSc course allows students to construct their own study program within a flexible degree structure.

Course requirements

Students commencing the BSc course should refer to the course requirements listed under the 'Bachelor of Science' entry at the Clayton campus.
Science sequences (major or minor) are offered in the following fields of study:

• Applied chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Biotechnology
• Environmental science
• Environmental microbiology
• Gene technology
• Microbiology
• Tropical ecology
• Tropical forest management

The following units are available for meeting the first-level PLE requirement:

• Life processes: BIO1011, BIO1022
• Earth processes: ENV1616
