Bachelor of Arts

Monash Arts aims to educate the leaders of tomorrow about society's institutions, cultures and values. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) is designed to help students make sense of our rapidly changing global culture. Equally relevant to the world of work and the world of knowledge, the BA aims to provide students with the skills needed to contribute to the social and cultural fabric of the community, and to become a truly global citizen.
The Bachelor of Arts is a three-year program. Students can take up to two majors, chosen from communication and media studies, geography and environmental science, or psychology. Students may take one major in an area of study taught by another faculty (with approval from that faculty).
