This combined course enables students to graduate with both an arts and a business/commerce degree after four years of study. Students complete all the requirements for the Bachelor of Business and Commerce while at the same time they complete at least a major and minor sequence, an additional first-year sequence in arts units, and a further 12 points in arts. The Bachelor of Business and Commerce is the global degree of the Faculty of Business and Economics. It is designed to give students a grounding in the core business disciplines, a major in a selected field of study, plus a recommended professional specialisation. Thus, the course has a strong vocational orientation while retaining the flexibility of the traditional commerce degree. The majors offered at Peninsula are accounting, international business and management. The double degree reinforces the international focus of the individual degrees.
