Undergraduate diplomas

The Faculty of Arts offers five undergraduate diplomas.

Admission requirements

The normal admission requirement is the satisfactory completion of the VCE or equivalent with a study score of 25 in English (any) and a study score of at least 20 in any three other VCE studies. Alternatively, students who have completed two not-for-degree units or two units through Open Learning Australia are also eligible to apply. Applicants who have completed a pass degree and meet the normal entry requirements may apply.

Course structure

Students are required to complete a three-year sequence in their chosen humanities, social science or language discipline. The diplomas give those students who have enrolled in an undergraduate degree not offered by the Arts faculty the opportunity to undertake studies concurrently in humanities, social sciences or a language while completing the requirement for their normal undergraduate degree.
