The Postgraduate Certificate of Education (Gifted Education) is for teachers
and psychologists who wish to commence postgraduate studies in gifted education.
To be eligible for admission to the course, applicants must be trained teachers who hold a recognised four-year qualification or be qualified psychologists.
The course consists of 24 credit points of study. Students will complete two 12-point units chosen from the following list:

Candidates who successfully complete the Postgraduate Certificate of Education
(Gifted Education) may complete a masters degree in education by undertaking a
further two or four units respectively.
The Postgraduate Certificate of Education (Gifted Education) requires a minimum of at least one semester of full-time study and no more than two years of part-time study. Each of the units is one semester in length. The expected number of hours per week for a part-time student is 24.
