Master of Banking

This masters degree has been designed as an interactive field of study providing a close association with industry using applied cooperative teaching by both academics and industry practitioners. This course is targeted at professional bankers and corporate treasurers seeking to invigorate and extend their managerial and leadership capacity and effectiveness.
Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution plus a minimum of three years relevant employment experience. Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of five credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular requirements in the course of study. Refer to the course director for further details.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Accounting and Finance as to the 2002 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
The Master of Banking is accredited by the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance and provided the required units are completed successfully, graduates will qualify for senior associate membership status.

Course structure

The degree comprises 10 (equivalent) units. Electives are offered subject to an acceptable number of approved enrolments.
