The Asia-Pacific region has achieved rapid economic growth in the last 20 years and now plays a significant role in the international economy. Australian business has already made much of the new opportunities available in Asia. However, much more can be done. Whether firms can take full advantage of opportunities in Asian markets depends largely on the skills of their management personnel. This course provides a broad understanding of current practices and future developments in Asian business.
Applicants require a pass degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of two credit exemptions for units considered to be equivalent to particular units in the course of study. Credit is restricted to study completed in the last five years. Refer to the course director for further details.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Management as to the 2002 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
