Justice studies

The discipline of justice studies involves academic study of the criminal justice system and, in some cases, extends to general social justice studies. Academic strengths relevant to the discipline at Monash University include police -- government relations, police ethics and accountability, civilian oversight of police, victims and victimisation, crime prevention, politics of policing protests, public order policing, crime fiction, mediation and the courts.
