Master of Family Medicine


Course code: 0099 + Department of General Practice, East Bentleigh + Fee-paying course: $19,620 (Australian residents); $25,400 (international students) + Attendance compulsory for some units

Aims

Candidates who successfully complete the graduate diploma and achieve a distinction level in MFM2006 (Introduction to research methods) may upgrade the qualification to a masters degree by additional coursework (three minor units or two major units) and a minor thesis based on an approved research project. This requires candidates to obtain an additional 48 credit points.

Entry requirements

Students should have completed the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.

A number of units will require students to visit the department for a weekend workshop.
