Due to their work and other commitments, students studying by off-campus distributed learning normally study part-time taking two units per semester, half the on-campus load. This means that to achieve a qualification through off-campus distributed learning, most students take twice as long as they would on-campus. Students requiring Austudy or wishing to increase their study load need to negotiate directly with their faculty. In agreed circumstances, students may also study a lesser load.
