Executive Certificate in Wine Technology and Marketing

A one-year, part-time course in which students study introductory subjects in viticulture and wine science, marketing theory and practice and financial decision-making.

Graduate Certificate in Plant Natural Products*

One year of study, in collaboration with Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE, leads to the award of GradCertPNatProds.

Graduate Certificate in Wine Technology and Marketing

Graduate Diploma in Psychology

Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland, distance education
A three-year, part-time sequence of study whereby graduates may complete the Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited 60-point major in psychology progressively from level one to level three. This replaces single subject enrolments in psychology.

Graduate Diploma in Wine Technology and Marketing

Peninsula
A two-year course with the first year full-time and the second year part-time. Students undertake studies in wine-growing, wine marketing and business management.

Postgraduate Diploma in Human Factors and Ergonomics

Clayton
A two-year, part-time distance education course that offers training in areas of human factors and ergonomics that are not currently accessible nationally to people under full-time employment. The course will provide training that is intended to fulfil the educational requirements for certification as an ergonomist/human factors practitioner.

Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology (Applied)

Caulfield
A one-year, full-time or two-year, part-time course for students who hold a first degree with an Australian Psychological Society (APS)-accredited major in psychology.

Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology (Counselling)

Gippsland
A two-year, part-time distance education course for students who hold a first degree with an Australian Psychological Society (APS)-accredited major in psychology.

Master of Applied Science

Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland
A research-based program for science graduates who have appropriate work experience.

Master of Organisational Psychology

Caulfield
A two-year, full-time or four-year, part-time Australian Psychological Society (APS)-accredited coursework program for graduates.

Master of Psychology (Health)

Caulfield
A four-year, part-time course offered by distance education. The course will consist of coursework, a thesis and supervised placements.

Master of Psychology

Clayton
A two-year, full-time (or part-time equivalent) coursework program for psychology graduates is offered within the Faculty of Education. See the Faculty of Education section in this handbook.

Master of Science

Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland
A research-based program primarily aimed at further training for BSc(Hons) and BSc graduates. Coursework/minor thesis programs are available in some areas: geology, geophysics, mathematical modelling, meteorology and statistics.

Master of Science (Preliminary)

Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland
A qualifying program combining research and coursework for students seeking admission to further studies at masters (or PhD) level. This is not a formal qualification and students, therefore, cannot graduate from this program but will articulate into another program such as a masters.

Master of Wine Technology and Marketing

Peninsula
A 12-subject, one-and-a-half-year, full-time or three-year, part-time course in which students undertake a range of subjects in wine technology and business/marketing.

Doctor of Psychology

Clayton and Caulfield
A three-and-a-half-year research degree which includes coursework and practical training in clinical psychology, and additional coursework in a choice of specialised areas (forensic psychology and medical/health psychology/organisational psychology).

Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology

Clayton
A three-year research degree which provides the skills required for practice in clinical neuropsychology. The degree is consistent with the requirements of registration for the Psychologists Board of Victoria and for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology

Clayton
A three-and-a-half year research degree preparing psychologists to conduct research in applied areas of psychology. This degree is accredited for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Doctor of Psychology in Organisational Psychology

Caulfield
A two-year research and coursework degree that provides advanced training in both research and the skills required for practice in organisational psychology. It is designed to satisfy the academic training requirements for membership of the APS College of Organisational Psychologists.

Doctor of Philosophy

Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland
An extensive research-based program offering further training primarily for BSc(Hons) graduates.

Doctor of Science

The higher doctorate degree, Doctor of Science, may be awarded on the recommendation of the faculty for published work which is considered to be a distinguished contribution to knowledge in a particular field.
