Graduate Certificate in International Business

This four-subject course has been designed to provide international business and related topics appropriate for graduates seeking a career progression in internationally focused corporations at all levels of management, in government and semi-government bodies which operate within an international business environment.
The course is also appropriate for graduates working in other areas but who are required to deal on a regular basis with international issues, and for those who wish to complete a preliminary course of international business studies.
Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Applicants without a first degree who have a minimum of six years appropriate employment experience should refer to the section on executive certificates. Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of two credit exemptions for subjects considered to be equivalent to particular subjects in the course of study. Refer to the course directors for further details.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Management as to the 2001 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in International Business may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in International Business or Masters of Management (International Business) and would be eligible for exemption for four subjects..
