Combined knowledge development and knowledge extension masters degrees
These degrees are normally completed in two semesters of full-time study or
part-time equivalent.
These masters degrees build upon the cross-disciplinary knowledge gained in the
relevant graduate diploma by developing specialist discipline knowledge at the
masters level. Candidates for admission require a pass degree in the relevant
discipline completed with an average grade of credit or above and some of these
courses require work experience. Graduates have a tendency to move within
related functions in business, government and the professions. Candidates for
these masters degrees may apply for consideration for PhD candidature provided
a significant research component has been completed at upper second class
honours level or equivalent.
