The Koorie Research Centre has changed its title to the Centre for
Australian Indigenous Studies. The centre has been offering Koorie studies at
the undergraduate level since 1978, and from 2000, will be offering an MA by
research.
Areas of research specialisation include: indigenous education, the history of
colonisation of Australia, Aboriginal rock music, indigenous performance,
racism and sport.
