Graduate Diploma of Applied Arts (Metals and Jewellery)

Course code: 2841 * Caulfield campus
This course aims to provide graduates with a strong focus on the medium of jewellery/metals; knowledge, understanding and skills in the materials, technology and construction of jewellery/metals; the ability to undertake sustained studio practise, and the initiative to work independently; concepts and skills pertinent to their chosen medium; and the ability to evolve their own aims, interests and vision, to be expressed through their studio work.
The course is undertaken over one year full-time or two years part-time.
Applicants should have completed a Graduate Certificate in Applied Arts (Metals and Jewellery). Depending upon the number of places available, students may also be required to submit a portfolio of studio work for selection into the course.
