Master of Visual Arts*

The MVA is a coursework degree providing critical guidance in contemporary thinking in art but focused towards students who want to concentrate on the development of their studio practice.
The program runs for two semesters full-time and for four semesters part-time. It consists of four coursework subjects:

Applicants should hold a bachelors degree from Monash University or a recognised equivalent in the discipline for which the application is made. In addition, applicants must submit a folio of art work. The work in the folio must be judged by the admission panel to demonstrate strong potential to achieve in the discipline at level 5.
