The honours degree in education requires an additional year of study following the completion of the requirements for a double-degree in education.
Following completion of the BEd(Hons) degree, students will have:

Admission requirements

Students will be eligible for admission to the honours degree of education within three years of the year of completion of an education double degree (eg BA/BEd, BSci/BEd). Normally, students must achieve an average grade of distinction or higher in the compulsory and elective subjects of the education degree.
Students who have not completed a Monash Education faculty double degree may be eligible for admission provided that they have satisfactorily completed equivalent studies at an equivalent grade level.

Length of course

This course is a one-year full-time program. The expected number of hours per week for a full-time student is 48.
