Differential HECS

In 1997, the Federal Government introduced a student contribution system requiring a student to pay a HECS fee which varies depending on a discipline banding system. This means that students in the Faculty of Arts may have to pay a higher HECS fee for subjects studied outside the faculty. Students should check with the appropriate faculty as to the HECS fee band of individual subjects.
