A combined course for the arts and teaching degrees is available on the Clayton and Peninsula campuses which enable students to take out both degrees after four years of study. Students complete all the requirements for the Bachelor of Education degree while at the same time they complete at least a major and minor sequence and an additional first-year sequence in arts subjects.
