Technology requirements

For courses other than electronic commerce, it is strongly recommended that students have access to a personal computer. (Note that the School of Business and Electronic Commerce is an IBM-compatible Windows environment.) It is also strongly recommended that students have access to a modem to facilitate email communication with teaching staff.
For courses in electronic commerce, students must have full access to a personal computer as it is an essential tool for electronic commerce and for this course. Access to the Internet and World Wide Web (WWW) is also necessary for access to subject materials, to communicate electronically with lecturers, tutors and other students to conduct research for assignments. Advice is available from Monash in relation to purchase of a computer system and connection to the Internet and WWW.
