Profile of the school

The School of Business and Information Technology is located at the Monash University Sunway Campus Malaysia and is the university's first full campus outside Australia. Monash University Sunway Campus Malaysia is about 20 km southwest of downtown Kuala Lumpur, at Bandar Sunway. The campus is equipped with the required teaching and learning resources for the courses it offers. Computers, software, laboratory equipment, a multimedia resource centre, library and reference materials are available to students.

Teaching

The school's first student intake commenced in July 1998. Two courses are offered by the school, the Bachelor of Computer Science and the Bachelor of Business Systems. Students enrol in courses commencing in March and July each year and the semester dates are identical to those in Australia
