Postgraduate certificates and diplomas are designed for graduates who have
completed a fourth year of post-secondary study, usually in education. The
normal duration for each is one semester (full time) or two semesters (part
time) for a certificate and two semesters (full time) or four semesters (part
time) for a diploma.
The faculty awards the following postgraduate certificates and diplomas:
In addition, candidates who successfully complete the first two
or four subjects of any other specialisation in the Master of Education course
may be awarded either a postgraduate certificate or a postgraduate diploma
respectively.
The Postgraduate Certificate in TESOL counts as 40 per cent of the Postgraduate
Diploma in TESOL (see details in the course outlines below).
