Aims

Candidates who successfully complete the graduate diploma and achieve 'distinction level' introduction to research methods may upgrade the qualification to a masters degree by additional coursework (three minor subjects or two major subjects) and a minor thesis based on an approved research project. This requires candidates to obtain an additional 300 credit points.

Major subjects

The major subjects are (seventy-five credit points each):

• MFM2007 Learning and teaching family medicine
• MFM2008 Applied research methods

The thesis is worth 150 points.
