An alternative mode

Distance education is a flexible mode of study in which on-campus attendance is, for most subjects, replaced by independent learning materials. Each subject studied in the distance mode has the same content and assessment as the equivalent on-campus subject. Currently there are over 6000 students around Australia and more than an additional 2000 living overseas studying from their homes through distance education at Monash.
