The aim of this course is to provide a flexible alternative for busy professionals with restricted time horizons who require personal development in the management of human resources. The Executive Certificate in Human Resources is offered by distance education by the School of Business and Electronic Commerce or on-campus by the Department of Management and enables students to individually tailor programs to meet their own or employer requirements.

Mode of offering

This course is offered by distance education at the Gippsland campus and on-campus at the Caulfield campus.

Duration

Two semesters of part-time study. Normally a student will study two subjects per semester.

Course structure

All students will satisfactorily complete any four from the following list of subjects providing that prerequisites have been satisfactorily completed. Subjects with the alpha prefix of MGG are offered by distance education, subjects with the alpha prefix of MGF are offered on-campus:

Progression to further studies

As previously stated. Distance education students considering articulation into the Graduate Diploma in Human Resources should undertake the first year subjects specified for that course.
