The aim of this course is to allow employers and individuals the opportunity to select any four subjects from any of the graduate diploma courses offered by the faculty. Companies that wish to encourage their managers to study in graduate diploma and masters programs can use this course as a useful starting point for those who wish to continue with higher study and as a useful exit point for those requiring specific educational programs. Individuals who are unsure as to the area of study they wish to enter into or who wish to study across a range of discipline areas can use this course as an opportunity to cater a course specifically to their needs.

Mode of offering

This course is offered either by distance education at the Gippsland campus or in-house, at an alternative venue as required, and administered from the Caulfield campus.

Duration

Two semesters of part-time study. Normally a student will study two subjects per semester.

Course structure

Completion of the Executive Certificate of Business will require a pass grade in four subjects selected from graduate diploma programs offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics. The course is offered by the Department of Management, or by the School of Business and Electronic Commerce by distance education. Candidates must complete all subject prerequisites as specified in the details of subjects to the satisfaction of the course director.
