Doctor of Philosophy

The degree of Doctor of Philosophy is undertaken by thesis. The research program in Art and Design is one that specifically derives from the production of creative work(s)/design(s) but the examination is by thesis. Students may enrol as full-time or part-time candidates. Applicants are required to have qualified for an honours degree (upper level) or a masters degree and preferably be able to demonstrate attainment as a practising artist, craftsperson or designer.
