Science languages

The Department of German offers a science language course GRN0001 (Science German). This is usually taken in fourth year. In earlier years enrolment may produce an overweight course. Students seeking permission for an overweight course should see the academic adviser.

German

1 hour per week * Clayton

Consultation teaching is by programmed instruction. This subject is designed to give students sufficient knowledge of German to enable them to read scientific texts with the aid of a dictionary. Students proceed at their own pace and are given the opportunity to translate texts of their own choice.
