Subject value 0.25 * First and second semester * Distance * Prerequisite: Bachelors degree with a major in psychology from any Australian Psychological Society accredited course, GSC4108

This subject is designed to extend the practical experience of supervised client contact in professional work settings that was begun in GSC4108. It consists of a further twenty-five hours of supervised client contact involving one human service organisation where counselling services are offered to a range of clients experiencing psychological difficulties. The placement will take place in the second year of the course It can be done as one block, several small blocks, or as a series of full days. The preferred mode is a full day each week.

Assessment

Psychological reports: 80% * Evaluation of fieldwork placement: 20%
