The subject explores the political context of nursing and examines both the wider political context of health policy and nursing and politics as a fundamental aspect of everyday nursing practice. Students will be encouraged to gain an insight into the political aspects of this practice area and the health policies governing them.

Written assignments (2500-3000 words): 70% * Presentation: 30% * Seminar work
