Teaching in health care

The subject will introduce the principles and methods of teaching and learning appropriate to the teaching role of the professional nurse provides a basis for the development of more advanced teaching skills. Topics include models of teaching and learning, assessing learning needs, planning objectives, teaching strategies, lesson planning and evaluation of teaching and learning.

Assessment

Class presentation: 50% * Written assignment: 50%
