Oncology and palliative care

Patients with cancer form a major client group in palliative care. This subject examines the unique needs of people within this group from a current research and practice base. Topics include basic concepts of cancer, palliative medical treatment and nursing care and the lived experience of cancer.

Assessment

Take-home exam: 60% * Case study: 40%
