Principles and practice in hospice and palliative care

Palliative care is not simply symptom control, rather it is to assist clients to live to their fullest potential until death. This subject is designed to develop the students' assessment skills and their ability to offer increasingly creative options in care in order that they may foster an improved quality of life for their patients. The content includes health assessment skills in palliative care, complementary healing praxis and symptom control.
