This subject is designed to provide a course of study central to critical care nursing practice. It examines theory, research and nursing practice related to cardiovascular and pulmonary function and critical health impairment. It presents subject matter from the biosciences fundamental to cardiac, haemodynamic and respiratory monitoring.
